I could get nauseous on the kids' merry-go-round. Carnival rides were absolutely verboten, unless there was a large contingent of people on the ride who didn't mind some kid barfing all over. The girls have teased me about this unmercifully, because they all love the wildest rides.

S'Ok, though. Dad had the money for the rides, so I made them shut up.

I am with you, not a motion guy. As a little kid I freaked out on some carny ride, my parents loved reminiscing about that to embarrass me. As a just turned 30 guy I got invited to Florida with the gal in the next rental townhouse. Her girlfriend had bailed on her on this pre-paid Florida package so I agreed to buy half and go with her (my gal had just bailed and moved out so we were kind of a pathetic match). Even though it was a total friendzone* thing, when it came to her wanting to ride Space Mountain I had to say yes. Didn't like it much and would never go on a real roller.

* I have mad friendzone skills; the townhouse nurse, Debbie, Dorie, Denise, Linda, Marsha, and several current Mpls friends.

The JLH gif thread reminded me about the dbag hawk fan starting a douchey thread and a bunch of us turned it into a condiment and BBQ thread. That was a finer moment of CF. I enjoyed the hawk fan going nuts about it to, made it great. I see the JLH thread is kinda dying out. Will need to wait for the next good thread.

My youngest likes Ritz crackers but not the rectangular club crackers from the green box. So wrong, must be from the wifes side.

Some dude is getting ready to go postal due to the peeing match in the ISR threads. Must be new.

Which side is he on? I like having Hawks on ignore so it looks like Twins’ soliloquy.

NPR did their little music flashback retrospect spot this morning. Think it's a Thursday morning thing. They noted that 50 years ago today that Green Tambourine was the #1 song. Thanks, NPR, that bubble gum crap is now stuck in my head.

Shade of red makes a difference, and honestly at my age....no woman knows her real color anymore anyhow, but the orange ones are pure crazy. I either thought they were very cute or not at all. I dated one that was a darker shade and I really like that.

The one thing you failed to realize is that any woman around college age or younger is what you would call crazy or high drama. As I get older and my daughter gets older it becomes clearer and clearer to me.

Yes many college age or younger women can be high drama, but there's something extra about redheads for some reason. No offense to my favorite orange orangutan.

I had some brunette and blonde girlfriends who were, for the most part, stable. Not so with redheads. Maybe it's a rarity issue.

Random thought/question. Long story short my BIL (19 years old, skinny and right around 6' tall) made the comment that he didn't think he could fit in a twin bed. My in laws gave each of their kids a queen bed in middle school for whatever reason. I didn't have anything bigger than a twin until I was married so obviously I made a comment about he could definitely fit in it.

What did you/your kids have?

I had a twin up to and through college. I am 6'2. Sounds like your BIL is a whiner.

My kids have twins as well.

I had a double my whole rememberable life. My oldest had twins until about JH then we bought them doubles. My youngest still has a twin.

I hope this is BIL as in wifes brother and not married to sister. If its the latter, he won't be around long if hes that whiny.

They all have a twin at home and heights range from 5’11 to 6’2”.

The full fledged adults, oldest and shortest has a queen crammed into his bedroom in house with other grad students cause it was same price as smaller beds.

Wichita son has a full.

Neither complains about the twin when they are home.

Edit to add husband and I were poor, had one twin for a year when got married lol.
