Good for your friend, I will admit that trying to decipher between 15 through 22 can be difficult. Maybe its being old, but I think many 15 year olds try to look way too old and having a daughter that age it scares me.

BTW, I am throwing options out for Boxster, I have no interest in dating youngin's. I figure a trophy wife would be about 20 years younger so 26 would be my floor now. Interestingly the lady at the dentist office this morning and I were chatting (we are roughly the same age) and we both agreed that mentally we don't feel in our mid 40s, at times we feel like we should be 25, until we see a group of 25s then we realize it.

Oh I’m just giving you **** lol. I don’t actually believe you’re giving kindergarten roundup a whole new meaning.

As a society we have sexualized children and I don’t think it is a good thing.

I am a little concerned about some of the ads CF is running though.

You have to be very pretty to pull off hair that short that well.

That’s why mine is shoulder length lol.

Based on the Peta poster, the reason she was in the paper the other day, I think she might be working out some too.

Hair gets tricky for you gals when you get close to empty nesting age. Guy either go bald or cut it shorter and unless we go old bald man with a bun no one cares. Dealing and choosing a hair style and color is tougher for women. I kinda disagree that you have to be Gillian pretty to pull off short hair unless you have uber thinning or fine hair like my sister. More to the point is that she probably has some talented stylist figuring what will look good for her and we all go to the corner hair cutlery. I'll been noticing lots of short cuts on older gals at Life Time (daytime workout crowd is noticeably older than supper time/after work crowd.)

@carvers4math's post made me think of the whole Jon-Benet Ramsey thing. I have 5 girls, and it never once crossed my mind to parade any of them around in flashy clothes and gaudy make-up. Little girls love the attention, and pretty soon the lines start to blur.

I have often thought we wish for our children to act older far too soon, and then eventually rue the fact that they aren't little anymore. There's plenty of time for little girls to become awesome women. Enjoy the little kid part more.

OK, I'm done sermonizing for today. Let's talk about @BCClone as a carnie.

I am really lucky with my old lady hair so far.

It is still mostly blonde and my “gray” strands are white. Kind of just makes the whole mess look a lighter blonde than my natural color when younger.

It is also still really thick and wavy. I have them thin it when they cut it. My mom’s hair stayed thick so fingers crossed.

The kids do give me crap cause I have all these pictures of the back of my head on my phone for when I do a crazy hair check.

As for the dudes, just don’t go Hair Force One.

What carnie job do we think BC should have? I see guessing ages and weights.

Not sure what I will do this summer/fall (to me hair is a necessary evil to deal with) but last year I started a match with my son about long hair. I was going to go longer than him for haircuts. If you don't think this would really tick my wife off, this is what my hair becomes if grown out.

at about 3inches long it starts getting very wavy on top and the back starts these curls. Every little bit longer and it just amplifies. It got to probably 4 inches on top (I shave it close to a high and tight normaly) so it was really starting to roll.

BTW, if you cut her hair shoulder length, I have toddler pictures like that. After mom kepting getting told she had a cute daughter, my dad made her chop it off.

I've been blessed with thick hair. My maternal grandfarther died in his 80s with a full head of hair, so that's generally considered a good sign. My hair is also dirty blonde, so I don't think gray is going to be a huge problem. I'm pushing 40 and having noticed any gray yet, BUT I have noticed some rogues in my beard. Oh well. I'm not vain enough to color any of my hair.

Funny story, my ex-wife started getting a few stark white hairs in her almost black brunette hair when she was in her 20s. She's been dying it ever since. Her hair is about as honest as the rest of her.

Oh and @BCClone should be barking for the yak lady or spreading pixie dust on the Tilt-a-whirl!

Thanks cousin Eddie.

Last time i rode the tilt a whirl, my oldest was about five and I nearly barfed afterwards. That would have put me in mid 30s

I remember going to the fair when I was still in college, early 20s. I went on the Silly Silo. I felt like I was going to yack for hours afterwards. I also remember taking my kids to Adventureland when they were littler and going on the roller coasters. Just wasn't my thing.

I haven't had long hair in so long I have no idea what it would do if I let it grow. When younger it would be kind of wavy
