Slightly annoyed that I spent more time in my car driving to Iowa to see my brother and SIL than I actually spent with them this weekend. Saturday night ended with a fight about politics, which he should know better than to bring up.

I hate when that happens. Sadly politics have driven a huge stake between my family and my aunt and uncle. One time when my parents were visiting us in Wichita he went with them somewhere and they got in an argument bad enough that my dad just got out at a stop light and started walking. He kept saying "We disagree and that's okay lets just not talk about it" and my uncle insisted on discussing it enough to the point that they started yelling.

Unsure whether commenting on the misspelling of Trini or if Velo whiffed you with a change up and you really didn't know who Lopez was.

Yeah, it's always been a "don't talk about it" subject. There are a few things we don't talk about...the Iowa/Iowa State game and the election. I'm super liberal, he's conservative (brainwashed by fox news) and we are both feisty. It got to a point where I threw money on the table and was ready to walk out of the bar. He apologized, but when I get mad, it takes a while to stop being mad.

I saw Sully this weekend. Good flick. I wasn't sure what to expect from a movie standpoint, but it was well done.

Also tried out an escape room for the first time. I can't speak for all of them, but the one I went to was really fun. We got out right as the timer was running out.

Owen has some Newborn sized pants that fit him like Hammer pants. I picked him up the other day and helped him do the Hammer dance

He was not as amused as I was.

I'm coming up for the game this weekend. My sister mentioned that she might park at Maple/Willow/Larch. Is that open for parking during games? I always thought it was patrolled and ticketed really heavily during games.
