I was worried that your 30 year old supports might not be a good idea. Your feet change a lot over time and even if they didn't if you aren't used to them anymore wearing them for short spurts to get accustomed to them would probably be wise.

Yeah, I know, I should have spoken up before you decided to pound the things into the bottom of your feet.

My feet are the same high arched pieces of crap they were 20 years ago. The foam top covers were worn so I stuck the hard orthotics under something that was too thick. Shaving the soft improvised cover down for Sunday and ordered some new cover material via Amazon Prime.

Edit: Took the Asics inserts and with a little fish knife carving, sandpaper shaping and sheetrock corner bead glue they are firmly attached to the old orthotics. Winning! No moar slipping around (maybe).

I've always wanted a telescope and with the big solar eclipse event next year I have really been itching to by some sort of reasonable quality scope. The only issue is it would most likely end up being a $1,000 dust collector after the newness wears off.

I wonder if there is a astronomy website that they trade used telescopes on? They are pretty cool but seem pretty hard to find used.

The wife and I are meeting up with a couple of friends and doing an escape room tomorrow night. I've been wanting to check one out for awhile. My wife asked if I was sure I wanted to be locked in a room with her and this other couple for an hour given their strong personalities (and me being really laid back).

I'm now considering bringing a weapon.

Fish knife easy to conceal and deadly.

One of our players is injured and there's no ambulance on site.

How is there no EMT crew there? I thought it was mandatory at FB games. Full disclosure I don't know if there is such a rule but any game I've been to in a long time has had a crew there.

My cousin is here from Iowa and she said out there they won't start until there's an ambulance on site. We're the visitor tonight, we should've just brought ours.

Jokes for Z the next time Rev or Erik show up.

Q. What kind of dog tells time? A. A watch dog.

Q. Why was the papa centipede upset? A. His kids all needed new shoes.

Ok, maybe she won't get the 2nd one, but I bet she gets the 1st one.
