Windy alumni ride today with wind gusts to 30 mph. Ack. Picked a return route that avoided most of the wind which a couple slow riders appreciated. The wind coming off of Lake Calhoun was really something and glad that was at the end of the ride. The sailboard folks were FLYING.
Weirdest thing today was at mile 6 or so where this anorexic looking dude wearing just shorts was jumping rope in the middle of the bicycle path. Just odd.
At mile 24 came across some older dude (my age or older) who had just augered in while roller blading. He was pretty beat up looking and dazed with some nasty road rash. Oh, and dude, if you are that age wear a damn shirt, nobody wants to see your old man bare chest.
And vintage cars galore. Coolest was red 1941 Chevy pickup. 2nd prize goes to the light blue 1961 Chevy Impala convertible.

Youngest sons team gave up aTD with seconds to go to give up the shutout. I got everyone in on defense, which was my main goal; unlike the offensive coach who only wanted certain kids so we would guarantee a win and make his son look good. Cripes, they are young kids, make sure all get some time and have fun!
Watching Stranger Things on Netflix because everyone says it's amazing. Only one episode in, and it's pretty good so far, but, at least this much in, I'm not getting all of the love for Winona Ryder in it. She's been nothing but annoying as **** so far.

Casablanca is on TCM. I don't even know how many times I have watched that movie and watching it here again. Love that movie.

It's in my Happy Days pile. First half season and the next season were great. Then, it sort of spiraled down (the US Version, I mean)
Get an ottoman and put it at the foot of your bed. He probably doesn't need steps, just a halfway point.
Exactly what we do for our little Maltese who can't make it up to the bed. It helps that the condo in FL came pre-furnished with two cheapo ottomans (ottomen?).

working from home this morning and 3 deer ran through the backyard.
I think most parents would be annoying in that situation. Isn't so much her acting, but her character. At least that was my opinion.
