Went to the liquor store wearing an ISU shirt. Cute Vodka sample girl asks me if I went to ISU as I walk by. Turns out she is from Melbourne and a big ISU fan but went to Baylor. After some chit chat, she had no one watching the game with her tomorrow so I invited her over and she accepted.

Gave me her number but not her name. So I'm ******.

Oh, and I am assuming 2015's vodka girl is from Melbourne, Australia and not Iowa because that would be way cooler.

I agree with Boxster that she is from Australia. I had to look up Melbourne, IA and found out the population is only 830 so the chances of her being from there are pretty remote. I hope you told her G'Day and to put another shrimp on the barbie.

By the way, there's a kid's show on Netflix called H2O. It's about mermaids in Australia. It's not particularly good but us neighborhood dads all have a soft spot for it. "Hot Australian Mermaids. What's not to like about that?"

Just finished comeback run #10 (hear that cowgirl836?). Figured I'd stop calling them test runs. Running a minute a mile faster than a month ago, that's good. Foot is hurting some, that's bad.

Time to sacrifice a chicken and offer some rum to Jobu. And ice the foot.

Got my CF "AHF" shirt on...it's kind of a faded cardinal color...I think they call it "aged".

Deviled eggs, quick breads, brownie bites made. Smokies wrapped, meat made for home-made hot pockets. Not much to do now until about 6 when the stuff goes in the oven & people start arriving.

Oh yeah...we made "launchers" for our marshmallows. Mine is a piece of pvc pipe wrapped in yellow ribbon, with a small Cy doll sitting astride it. It functions as a blow gun.
Lew's is also pvc pipe, with a double elbow bend. It's coupled to a mini compressor, and actually has a trigger on it. Sucker can accurately shoot a small marshmallow the length of the living room (about 40 feet). MOAR POWER!!!
