Last one I drove was my sister's Sportster. No. Vibration City. Couldn't see anything behind me in the mirror as it was shaking the whole ride. Loud and not fun. This was probably 6 or 8 years ago. She sold it but not to me, LOL. If I were to buy a cruiser bike it would probably be a Honda.
Can't say. The last Sportster I rode was an 84 Ironhead Roadster. It didn't seem to vibrate but of course I had my old Superglide in those days. Damn, I loved that bike.

Thought too much and turned a $2 vehicle repair into a $35 one by the time I was done.

Harleys, never owned a bike but of course that's one place I'd have some connections. Why not John Deere instead?

My great great grandfather invented the first gasoline tractor to go both forwards and backwards. He sold it to what became the Waterloo Boy which of course became John Deere. Not that I am bitter or anything.

That's wild. I had him Summer '03 out at Kirkwood. Did you get to go to Brandon, IA or Main Amana too?

Brandon-Yes
Amana-No

Other drives were around town and our final drive was to pick places that we normally go (home, school, work, church etc.)

He was the most popular teacher and I am proud to say I aced the written final in 05.

The kid from making a murderer got his conviction overturned. I'm glad. He was not smart enough to know what was happening.

Interview went well.
First shift position taken by a second shift current employee, so the frickin frackin job starts on second shift, but should be able to move to first within six months if he gets the job.

Six months we can live with. Last time, six months turned into two+ years. That was really tough on him, physically, and on us (we never got to see each other during the week, and our weekends included ONE night (Saturday). Screwed up our ability to attend basketball games too. :(

Weird weather outside. Like it's raining but it's not coming down to big gulps. Not thundering, nor is the wind blowing like crazy. I think it's called a rain shower.

4.0 in my MBA program in tact. This one was in a class where the professor had back surgery and we had to self-study for exam 2 and the final and were not provided a sub.

Home from a long, tiring day at the State Fair. After the rain stopped this morning things just became humid as ****. One day a year is enough for me. Not sure how people can do it multiple days.

We went out to dinner tonight (and I didn't see the gift thread in 2 seconds of looking).

Revkah gave me a nice gift. She got a drink to go, and gave me the cup to throw away. I said "Wow, I finally have a gift to tell a story about......"

Z threw in from across the room "That's not a present!!!"

Girl is right. We can all learn from her.
