AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Although technically I suppose that's more of an "AAAARRRRROOOOOOOO"

Ez 40 mile ride today last 15 were into the wind (I'm guessing 10-15mph) took road bike and still was able to do 10-14 mph. Had maidrites, fruit cup, pasta salad, cookie and a couple of beers at the end of it. Not sure what I'm doing for the rest of the day.

Rev, start of that animal video, I thought there could be a whole lot of death going on here, then they went to cute cuddly animals. Baby elephant was pretty darn cute.

A bike shop order for a new bikes is to me as a shipping and delivery order is to Chaser. Going to end up being a third of my summer getting the runaround from these dips. Thought my "Okay, resolve this or give me my money back" fixed it but now I am hearing "management" knew nothing about it. I am assuming this means the part was not ordered and I have no shot at getting the bike this weekend. Waiting for them to call back. My fault for thinking I would be riding new wheels this weekend.

 :realmad:

Surprising actually. When I was restoring my old John Deere pedal tractor for the grandnephews I took the old chain in and asked them what it would cost to decrease/clean. They thought the project was cool and didn't even charge me to do it.

Boxster, Well I guess you can hope the give you a big discount on all the accessories, once it comes in. Which set of front rings are they bringing in or are they just bringing in a new bike and putting your original order on the floor once the parts come in?

Have fun seeing the nieces and grand nieces this weekend. Are you crossing in Stillwater then taking (I think it is) Hwy 35 down on the Wi side?

You would have enjoyed the last 5 miles of my ride got in with a group of 20 yr olds. Had been joking with them the whole route about them passing me as we stopped in various towns, the gal was a runner on the Wartburg track team. I was quite content to follow her and chat with her boyfriend as we were finishing ride. She was probably about 5'6", maybe a little short for you but the view was good.

At my 20 year (a few years back), most of us went skinny dipping in the town pool. Small town, small class, lots of beer, about 2:00 in the morning. Finally got to see some things that I'd always wondered about. The 20th was the best. You're old enough to know better, but still young enough to be stupid.

I had fun, and was out til 2, and there was lots of beer- but to my knowledge no skinny dipping.

made a strawberry cheesecake pie. Going to have brats and sweet corn - still no grill but maybe we'll get one Monday. And trying out a plain daiquiri after trying one Thursday - pretty good.

but no friends attending. Turned down a lake offer and other friends have their sister in town so they are with family tonight. Hoping to do something yet tomorrow or Monday maybe. But it's ok if we don't cause we got all the volleyball, kickball playoffs, camping, and play-watching to do this summer :) Plus I mentioned tubing on a river and friend was like YES I want that to be a girls' day thing! I would love that.

CG, do some of the outfitters around Madison offer float trips, where they drop you off and pick you up, or would you just leave vehicles at both ends?

Boxster, that sounds horrible.

Went to the Mucky Duck so Z could play in the castle and get some food. I planned to share with her, but she left me four bites. :(
