As for DH, his parents asked him if he'd lost weight when they were here a couple weeks ago. I suppose he has since Christmas but mostly because he got sick and now we do more outside work. He's almost there, I'd say. The farmer tan from mowing/landscape stuff could use some work. I told him to mow shirtless this weekend. He said no.

Heh...I can't get PapaLew to WEAR a shirt around the house & yard...if we have people coming over I have to remind him to go put one on. There's a happy medium somewhere...
 
I've been to wherever kings island is in Ohio, it was alright. Was on the way to a family reunion on my dad's side of the family.
 
So I come back to this thread bashing Indiana, where my mom's from, and Ohio, where I went to college. Although, I will say Ohio isn't all that impressive.

Yes. I feel comfortable doing so having lived in Indiana for 8 years. Also, for having to live next to that **** hole Ohio for the 8 years I lived in Indiana.
 
Little00's last day of kindergarten, so we decided to go out for dinner. Unfortunately, I forgot I had training until 5, so it was a little later than planned. Cool part was we went to a newer place in town, recognized several of the servers from our church, including our waiter. Kinda figured he must have just graduated since I've seen him serve mass (implying he's still in high school), but he served me beer (meaning he has to be 18). Asked him about it, he did just graduate, is going to Iowa in the fall (As much as I'd like to protest, it's not worth it over here). Sat on the patio, the sun went behind the neighboring building before we ate, so it was nearly perfect. Another cool thing, little00 ordered the kid's pizza, and they brought him a pizza crust on a peel with bowls of sauce, meat, and cheese and he got to make his own pizza, then sit at the counter and watch it cook.

Only thing that wasn't perfect, I had decided to give our waiter a certain dollar amount, decent sized tip since he's headed off to school, but the dang bill was so large that my 'huge' tip only ended up being 33% of the bill.
 
I thought the cave was bad before. Man I was wrong. The current HRC thread is turrible. People acting like they downright hate the other side in there.

Like I said before, you catch fire one...or thirteen times and no one lets you live it down.

I think I'm a little more attached to it because it was my home for 4 years. And after driving through Indiana on highway 30, Ohio was paradise. And it helps that I thought the College of Wooster was a wonderful place and the town was really nice.

Reason #435 not to like engineers. One got a job over me today. Who cares if he is more qualified than me and knows a lot of the job already.
