"strong"...probably yes. I think, in the end, it was a lesson. I had, in my mind...if I have to be honest and admit, a dollar amount that I thought would make me stand out. I committed to that dollar amount, but for the wrong reasons. I committed to it partially for my ego. I wanted the guy to remember me, rather than just wanting to do some good. It worked out such that it probably is going to do some good, but it probably isn't large enough that the guy will remember specifically that I stood out for the dollar amount compared to his other customers...it was a good tip, and will benefit him, but not so large that it should stroke my ego (which was what I was really probably kind of looking for).
Yeah, I've re-evaluated. Had bad motives...I wanted 'great' in that it became about 'me'. I think the tip was probably great in that it did him good without being about me...which was probably a good lesson for me.
So I made peanut butter pancakes for dinner. But I didn't measure and couldn't get the consistency right, so I just kept adding mix and water until it was right. I ended up having to make 9 pancakes because of it.
I hate to admit that I think it was an episode of Friends, but I remember one where it was about one of them convincing the other that good deeds selfish, because you do it to feel good about yourself. Which is mostly right. We can all say we do it just because it's the right thing to do, but we do get a self gratification out of doing it still.
Not that complex. Just regular pancakes and put peanut butter on them instead of butter.

The problem is he said the whole bottom was see through. I was expecting to hear booger from revenge of the nerds when I opened it.
