Boxster, was that you protesting Lochte? Looked like you from the side.

Then again, I don't know if prisoners get computer access. My wife's classmates brother said he doesn't get any in terra haute, so probably not

So it's measured from the start of first bell to the end of last bell. So while kids can't control being there necessarily. It incentivizes them to not mess around at breakfast and get their butts to class. Also I work at a neighborhood school where a big percentage of kids walk, so it makes them hustle to school. Our attendance is suprisingly good, and was last year, this is just to celebrate it and give kids a little extra brain break.

I hope Argent's kid doesn't come home someday and talk about the dance party they had to give their brain a break.

Rewarding GOOD behavior...I like it!

Completely agree. That is my life motto afterall. Was more of a comment on how much he thinks public schools are worthless.
It's interesting to me, that he doesn't home school. Says its too time consuming or some ****.

So hubby is in Vegas at a conference all week. Tonight: vball in Gilbert 3:30-5, softball in DSM 5:30-7:30, a 5th grade band meeting at 6:30 in Gilbert, an 8th grade Washington DC trip meeting at 6:30 in Gilbert, 5/6 vball practice in Gilbert 7-8pm. I'll only miss both meetings and 2 other people are getting the 5th grader to/from practice. Only so much I can humanly do in one night by myself. And the 3 and 5yr olds get to be drug around everywhere with me.

That's the important part. I was born in Louisiana, but we moved to Iowa when I was 3. I have NO southern accent.
We left Texas when I was five, but went back nearly every summer. I learned to mask it or get mercilessly teased by the kids in Washington. I don't have a STRONG accent, but it's there in a few of my words, and there are a few phrases I use that are pure-D Texan. It gets more pronounced when I'm tired (tarred) or tipsy. Or when we're down there around my family that still lives there. It's so easy to slip right back into the cadence. :)

So update on the neighbors. They finally showed up for the first time since Thursday but it was just her. No husband and no kids. Then about 15 minutes later a guy in a suit drives up and she meets him at the mailbox. They put some of it in a bag and he leaves. My guess is it was a lawyer.

Yup. Restraining order.
