Rabbuk I am assuming that you can't/don't want to say anything on this principal stuff?
I'm not terribly surprised my perception is DP was fast and loose with rule following and did what he wanted. I'd guess there's more to the story. But Dr Buck also seems like he's not against shaking things up.

I'm more interested if he knows the teacher. It's nice to know she is still committed to the relationship.
I briefly met her as she subbed in a building I worked in. Good sub honestly I was surprised.

So not trying to read too much into everything but between what you said and my observation from the KCRG story last night that all of the people protesting were white...

We had friends that transferred into Wash because of their perceived lack of bullying. Might just be because of the fact that they were mostly white, we'll educated and involved in the fine arts though.

This mornings gully washer t-storm again washed half my path mulch into the driveway and down the alley. This used to be a once every two years event, at least the third time this has happened this summer. Apparantly all rain in GV comes via a fire hose.

Was going to blame BCC but looked and saw radar showing a big glob of red near Mason City. He is obviously still in that area and not bringing the weather curse up here.

I found it a good morning with the storms to stay in bed a little longer -- and I am not the retired one. We had some pooling in our yard and all of the rolling trash cans at the sports fields nearby were blown over. Not severe but certainly strong.

Guilty. :)
I loved that kid - and the fact that he stayed loyal forever true when ISU MBB was collapsing around us.
Was given a basketball signed by the team his senior or junior year. Will have to see who is on it again. Then again the value for any of those aren't too high. Was given a fred Hoiberg ball last year.

Even Babe was not immune to the high winds:

I few minutes ago I heard a big crash/boom sound. Went outside and there is a fair sized branch on my roof they must have fallen from high up in my silver maple. Not big enough that I think it damaged anything (I think) but will need to get the ladder out and do my old man roof walk.
