CG alert. They are human testing a Zika vaccine. Cue the anti-vaxers!

Didn't realize they were far enough along to do this. Hope it works because they aren't going to be able to really effectively manage the mosquitoes that carry it.

Yeah that was like last fall I want to say?

I was hoping they'd be able to move pretty quickly on this as well. Like you said, not going to be able to control the spread effectively enough.

I know I don't post much lately during the day

That seems like pretty fast turn around.

As for the anti-vaxers: over the summer I had some pop up articles in my FB feed that was talking about one that might trigger latent Lyme or other autoimmune diseases (supposedly). If it happens a lot I would at least want to look into it more. Thankfully for me, I have another eight years for the doctors to fine tune it before I need to make a decision.

I was hoping to get an answer today about a question I asked yesterday. The person teaching me the ropes is apparently gone for the weekend. :(

So not trying to read too much into everything but between what you said and my observation from the KCRG story last night that all of the people protesting were white...

We had friends that transferred into Wash because of their perceived lack of bullying. Might just be because of the fact that they were mostly white, we'll educated and involved in the fine arts though.
The culture at that school is interesting. I always felt a little uncomfortable with it.

NWICY, you sure you want to bike ride with Boxster? Wind gusts on my last eight rides counting today: 25, 0, 26, 22, 26, 0, 20, 23.

Njord, Norse god of wind, really hates me.

Milo is apparently terrified of thunder. HUUUUUUGE thunderclap a couple of minutes ago...he did a backflip off the end table, ran over to me and was cowering under my chair. He's in my lap now, but the poor guy is still shivering.

It's looking pretty dark here at the eastern part of the state, and the wind has picked up.

KC's post made me check radar and saw this for Manchester:

HAZARD...60 MPH WIND GUSTS.
SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED.
IMPACT...EXPECT DAMAGE TO ROOFS...SIDING...AND TREES.

Just my luck if the new roof on the old homestead gets trashed while it's in probate. Can see the insurance going all "..but no one lives there and the policy is in your my mom's name and she is deceased..."

Hawaii safety inspection: $35
New wiper blades because they feel you're aren't safe even though they work fine: $20
Two front tires changed because they feel they're not safe even though you have over 20,000 miles left on the tires: $250
New plate stickers so you can ship your car to the mainland: $320

All so I can put it on a boat for another $1,000. Ah, Hawaii life.

Wow, even the Socialist Republic of Minnesota (as the talk radio wonks are wont to call it) no longer has passenger car inspections. Don't worry though, we still have radical far left concepts in place like same day voter registration so there is no chance of you not being eligible to vote.

Did you find dwelling digs yet?
