Now you're just saying things to get on my good side. Robin Hood Men in Tights is on TV right now, but I need to be going to bed.

While I find it almost impossible to rank his movies, I'd hesitantly go top 5 of:

1. Blazing Saddles
2. Young Frankenstein
3. The Producers
4. Spaceballs
5. History of the World Part 1

I actually saw the younger one in Target here just last week. I probably haven't seen her in almost 20 years, I didn't realize she lived around here.

Talk about feeling old, we saw on instagram it was Fred and Carol Hoiberg's 20th wedding anniversary today. Married 20 years they have a going to be sophomore in college, a high school senior, and 2 8th graders. When we hit 20 years next year we will have a going to be freshman in high school, a sixth grader, a 1st grader, and a 4yr old. Hubby is the same age as Fred. I know I am definitely one of the "old" moms with a kindergartener come school this year.

We hit 20 at the end of next year. Our youngest will be in 4th grade, oldest a junior, and middle will be a freshman. Having a 4 yr old will definitely put your husband on the older side of class parents. I'm one year older than Fred and when we had class conferences for our youngest, I was thinking I was old enough to be some of the parents' dad.

Oh, and my sports update...

Ottumwa scored a run in the top of the 7th to lead 1-0 over Urbandale, but Urbandale scored 2 in the bottom of the 7th.

But Roosevelt killed two-time defending champ SEP 10-1 to qualify for state.

Note: My finger/phone kept wanting to type 10-q. Very Calvinball-esque.

Calvin and Hobbes is always good for a thumbs up!

In the 5 years between our oldest and youngest we noticed that we went from being one of the young parents to being one of the old parents.

Kinda feeling my chest tightening up and feeling a little overwhelmed knowing I have about three weeks to move from Hawaii to the mainland when it took me almost 5 years of planning to do move from the mainland to Hawaii.

Does the company pay for the move? If so just hire movers let them handle it. How much time are they giving you to apt./house hunt? Long term airbnb till you get settled in maybe? Donate the stuff you don't want to good will or some other organization.

So now that it's officially official, I've taken a position where I'll be moving back to the Midwest. In particular, Minneapolis area (sorry Arob).

Boxster, now that you're retired, you may need to let me and floppy ear crash in your mansion for a little while during my apartment hunt.
Congratulations. You'll like it here. It's a really cool city with a big variety of things to do and areas to do them in. The people are very nice (if a little provincial). The chain of lakes that Boxster rides his bike around (I used to regularly when younger) is a real jewel in the middle of a large city. If you have questions about where to live don't be afraid to ask. Between Mrs. JCyclonee and myself, we've got quite a bit of experience around town. I'm sure Boxster, Arob, Tall and Velo would certainly be willing to help too.

This probably comes with the (relatively) expensive private school, but I'm upper 30s and I felt like I was about a median age of the kindergartner parents in my son's class. There were about 5 of us that had 1 kid each and are in our upper 30s/lower 40s, and then a couple more that were the same age with the baby of the family in the class. It seemed very unusual. Of course there were the couple of moms that were a good 10-12 years younger than me. And the teacher was born when I was in high school...

great. major deadline today and the location I need to move all my stuff to is down. This is just fantastic. And person who takes over when I'm done is two hours behind right now (at a meeting) so I was hoping to have a portion done by about now so they could hit start before meetings started. Well, I do have it done but I can't move it to where it needs to be.

Sitting in line waiting to unload. AC doesn't work in the truck. Just sitting and sweating.

Couple summers working in an asphalt plant in July/August, a season spent carpentering outside in the winter and another winter driving my dad's truck and pumping fuel when it was below zero convinced me I should really focus on getting a long term indoor job.
