Cowgirl? Is that you?
Nah, just bored. Finished washing some baby bottles and was just shooting the **** until I got sleepy. I managed to take the most recent post from you on the top 5 threads in the front page. My mission is done.

I did find it curious that you kept responding to all of those....

One of my co-workers and I were trying to come up with a get rich quick scheme once and she came up with self-washing baby bottles. I don't see how that would get us rich though.

WTF, that doesn't even make sense. Was she just throwing out anything, regardless of the science? I may get rich with calorie-burning bacon cheeseburgers then.

She barely graduated high school, so I think she was expecting me to actually invent the thing. Which is the first mistake.

Pants - are the non-touristy parts of Hawaii as ****** as they look in Dog: The Bounty Hunter? Is there a lot of poverty for the native Hawaiians?

I think most of what Dog films on is the big island. Outside of Kailua-Kona, the Big Island is very local and a bit more run down (by far the cheapest island to live on).

Waianae on the Windward side is probably most local on Oahu, and it's definitely pretty ****** (gorgeous beaches over there though, as well as the Waianae mountain range.)

Local Hawaiians do tend to be pretty poverty stricken, but mostly by their own doing. They're happy just getting what the need to get by on life and nothing more. As long as they have a place to live, food to eat and a body board or surf board to use, they're happy. Which is commendable to an extent, I guess. Keeping it to the basics. Not a lifestyle I could personally live, but I can't judge them for it. It's the Hawaiian way. Many of them know no different.

So, basically they way they had lived for generations before capitalism came on board? I guess that makes sense. Not much different than many Native Americans here in the states. If it makes you happy to live that way, more power to you.

Well, that's it folks. Heading to bed:

Pants - hold down the fort until morning.
Vikes - keep doing what you're doing. If it's being done overnight, it must be important. Don't want to wake up and find the city in flames because you fell asleep.

I realize it's a few years old, but I wish 95% of horror movies made these days were half as effective as this. No gore, no special effects, no elaborate ridiculous story, just a 3 minute short film made on a budget of probably 200 dollars that's creepy enough to not terrify you, but last with you for a little while.
Sorry to break it to you but they are turning it into a full length movie. I think it is the same guy directing.
