In defense of this kid, he might just be really nice. In high school I was really attracted to my girlfriend but that was only one part of our relationship. I also just really liked being her boyfriend and making her happy in and of itself, not as part of a master plan.
For anyone interested and has the time (over an hour and 20 minutes!) This is an incredibly GOOD interview by Conan O'Brien of Mark Lewisohn. Mr. Lewisohn is the author of an incredibly in depth book (Tune In) which covers the history of the Beatles up to 12/31/62. He is working on two more volumes continuing the story chronologically.
He does an incredible job of putting the story into perspective of the times and helps explain the change/influence of the group by also putting it into context of how things were done before. It does such a good job of explaining the "how it is now" bias that makes it somewhat difficult for people to appreciate what actually changed. And how incredible it all actually DID happen - and almost didn't - in so many different ways.

Good! We went Friday night and it was pretty good with only a few technical issues that kids won't care about that bothered me. My wife said Saturday night was good but yesterday was everyone was out of it. They have five shows this coming week so I am sure they will be digging deep on Sunday.

I accidentally keep going into the game of thrones thread thinking it's the murder house game thread. Takes me a sentence or two of trying to understand WTH they are talking about before I look at the title. Never seen game of thrones and that's why it takes a while.
