last night was really fun. One of my best friends from high school works near Madison and another one came in from Minneapolis so we just went out to a bunch of bars and hung out. We also talked about our various relationships in high school. JC, not saying you should be concerned about the nice guys your daughter wants to date, but you should be really concerned about the nice guys your daughter wants to date.

Has anyone known someone that has gotten back surgery? What's the down time like and when can you start doing normal activities again?

I think there's a wide range of different kind of back surgeries that can result in a varying amount of down time. You might need to be more specific.

Yeah that's what I figured. I don't know much about what he got work on. Think it was something with the sciatica. They said 6 months recovery time but he'll be able to go fishing sooner than that right?

Generally the recovery involves not using the back (no lifting, no standing for long periods, etc). Pulling on a pole with a fish on the line might be a no no...but I can't see why he couldn't go with you.

Contagious disease that kids get somewhat commonly. Sores on your hands, feet and mouth. Kids put everything in their mouth and goober all over stuff.

My BIL just had surgery May 2ND for a severely herniated disc and was walking about with a cane 3 days later. Has to sit a lot and pop a lot of pills.

Another BIL had to get 2 lower vertebrae fused for bulging disk (I think) Don't know how long he was down from that.

There was no pre-check line in Terminal 5 at all. Maybe because it was strictly an international terminal with non-USA carriers?

Nah. He gave up after a few episodes. He doesn't like having to remember so many storylines & characters. I was hoping, but I guess it's just going to be a late night thing for me.
