Not going to complain about the mild weather we have been having, but going from 37 in the morning to 75 (and supposedly 85 tomorrow) creates layering challenges for softball.

Paper reported today that September was the warmest on record for Minnesota.

Explains why my PJM Rhododendron has a few flower buds opening right now. They are an April-May shrub. Weird.

I call warm October, Octember.

In all of the crazy last night no one answered the question of what Jamberry(sp?) was. It's a fingernail almost like sticker instead of nail polish. I think you get the glue on by a hairdryer type heat.

Children in the lap while eating is always a challenge. I remember the days we could eat with her in our lap and she'd stay asleep the whole time.

If you need a little cheering up, do something volunteer-y. Mrs.00 started volunteering at little00's school on Wednesday mornings, and they had the boxtops there that needed trimming/bagging. She brought a bag home, and we cut/bagged them while watching the game. I could be upset about being behind 38-14, but instead, I feel pretty good about helping to get $60 for little00's school.
