no real kickball story tonight. I looked and someone went in and changed our game from last week - it's a forfeit now. We were up tonight 5-0, then let it get tied 6-6 going into the 7th. Our captain guy is like "we need to score". So DH led off. Then I kicked and got on. Then the guy behind got on. We all scored plus another person, so it ended up 10-6, so that was cool. I was out, out, 1st, score for my at-bats, but I moved DH every time. And DH scored for each of his at-bats. In fact, the two outs for me, he actually got to third because they chased me down with the ball, so he kept running. Productive out, at least.

I'm going to miss Bodeclone. Mainly because I took the opposite of what he thought was going to happen in a certain sports event, and then bet money on it and won every time

I don't know, that kind of sounded like a story to me.....
 
Had dinner almost ready when Mrs.00 and the kiddos got home (my standard shift ends a half hour before hers), so we had some good time to play outside after dinner while she did dishes. We have a balance bike that we got when little00 was a toddler, littlest00 has been trying it out, but he's a lot more hesitant than little00 was on it. However, last night he was riding down the hill on our street on the sidewalk, and I got him to pick up his feet and balance coast probably 2 houses worth. Big milestone for him, t'was a good night.

Birdy might be able to catch the last one yet, but for those with kids coming up on 2-3...the balance bike is really a good way to start learning to ride a bike. Significantly better than a pedal bike with training wheels. My brother's daughter, who is like 6 months older than little00, struggled with riding a bike about a year after little00 was off training wheels. We let her borrow ours, about 3 weeks on it and she was rolling.

Now, sitting on the couch watching "Doozers" on Hulu with littlest00.

At this point I'm just waiting for him to mess up and say something like, "guys I'm having a wonderful time, pants is such a gentlemen" on his own account.
