oh darn, what a shame. But you're too good for him anyway

I can do better than you. I can do better than you. I could never do better than you.

You have this management thing all wrong. Why would they throw themselves into the line of fire if they have you already doing it.

because they can't get answers from me, ha. I just forward it on. They did come in with a reply as to what was going on and the cause for the delay. We've had some stuff like this in the past where people have wanted me to remind their people when to send in requests and my boss has shut that **** down. If you want something from us, it's not my damn job to chase you around telling you to send it in. No skin off my back (or my manager's) if you don't get your stuff on time.

The Iowa recruiting thread makes my head hurt when I read it, yet I still posted in it.:(

CG, I got lost in the saving thread what is Mint that you mention?

Mint.Com, you can link in your financial accounts (credit cards, 401k, etc.) and use it to track your spending and saving. You can set up goals to progress toward as well. I've used it for about 4 years now and really like it. They use the same security measures as banks.

Right now I'm like 14 years behind on my retirement goal, ha.

ideas for something to take to a football party thing on Sunday? Prefer no nuts, shellfish, dairy, or gluten.

And yep, between two people, they have real allergies/intolerances to all of those. I'd be like whatevs if they were fake gluten-free, but friend was told by her doctor based on her family history and her current issues that she should cut out both. She haz a sad. We discussed that wine is still ok, so that's good.

I was thinking of just grabbing some chips, a thing of salsa, and then a thing of queso and putting that in our little mini crockpot thing that I've never used.

Veggie tray? Fruit? Chex Mix with the gf cereal. I noticed this morning that Z's HyVee brand chex was gf.

CG--look up the Iowa Girl Eats blog. She usually has good recipes and had to go gluten free after she had a baby (she basically became gluten intolerant). I think she has some recipes that are dairy free too.
