hey bae, have a safe flight tomorrow and don't be the guy who gets the flight diverted cause they kept laying their seat back too far and fighting with the person behind them.

When I was working in Ames, I brought my own lunch and stuck it in the fridge before work. You could let him start at 12:10? If so, that's plenty of time to get food (10 minutes is pushing it honestly).

We have had students from quite a few departments over the years. This may be profiling, but there is one major that (IMO) has provided us with the best employees over the years. Ag E kids come with a lot of skills already in place, most are mechanically inclined and computer literate. Many come from farm backgrounds and the best part of it is they aren't afraid of hard work, or extra effort when things get hectic.

There are any number of ways this guy could handle this one day a week. If he wasn't so very bad at working his hours, I'd suggest that route. However, he's already shorting us 4 hours out of every 10 scheduled. Let's just say the work ethic is really lacking. I'd just as soon say goodbye to him & hire one or two replacements now so that they're trained before we get busy. Unfortunately, that's not my call.

I just have to deal with the fallout of his absences.
 
I'm listening to anaconda by nicki minaj and I can't decide if it's the catchiest song of all time or the worst song of all time. Plus the video is nice.

I think cowgirl is talking one of those fancy range hoods vs. the microwave/hood combos. I have the microwave, but I tell you, there are definitely times I wish I had the externally vented range hood.
 
As someone who has worn a tie to work since 17, don't so what Babs said. Full or half Windsor, depending on neck size and face shape.

this colder weather finally lets me stop pretending to care what I wear to work. T-shirt under a fleece from now until April
 
siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh starting off my day by finding a note on my car saying they hit it is not a great Friday. I've parked in the same spot in our underground garage for over four years. Never a scratch. Wasn't the car next to me or immediately behind. If I'm right, it was the one kitty corner which means had my neighbor car been there...they would have destroyed their rear end first. How did they even do this. We weren't even home til 7:30 so we missed all the people coming home from work.

Oh well, at least they left a note and have insurance.
