I'm right on the edge of phobia-dom at this point. The summer of the wasp nest was bad.

My ER bill for the allergic reaction was $5,000 before insurance took care of most of it. It still cost me about $800 out of pocket. Good reason to be scared of wasps.

How much was a baby delivery for all of you? My wife's insurance has a $100 maximum out-of-pocket cost and she is talking about kids. Can this possibly mean the most we'll spend is $100?

I don't remember, but it didn't seem to be as gawdawful expensive as everything else medical related. I do remember that whatever it was, it was that for the whole shootin' match...like all the prenatal visits, I think a few ultrasounds (not sure on that...maybe just one is normally covered (?), we had more, but they were doctor ordered, not just 'cause we wanted them, so they were covered), and all the postnatal visits were covered by the one payment from us. I guess I'm not specific help, but I remember thinking that it wasn't near as expensive as I feared and have come to expect from everything else medical these days.

I got massively stung by a nest of hornets when I was about 6 or 7 (did you know you can't outrun them?), so now I react like crazy if I'm stung. Something like that would give me the willies for months.

Exactly. My brother discovered an allergy to wasps that summer - not via the nest in the basement, but via his fantastic idea to spray a water gun at a nest not really within range. So instead of it drowning them, it just got them wet and ****** off.

So you're saying we should have a baby while this insurance is still in effect!

It looks amazing. I would make sure they aren't limiting you to having pantsy deliver your kid in a barn or something crazy like that - so if you're seriously thinking along those lines, I would probably call and try to discuss it with them - is a single room covered or would it be double occupancy? What if the baby (or mom) has to be transferred to a hospital not in your network? Are the services of a midwife/doula covered? Stuff like that.

Me, $7500 deductible. Thanks Obama.

yeah I remember my mom saying that they had to pay out of pocket on all of us. I think they had a super high deductible or something. I don't remember I just know she talked about how much it had gone up between me and my brother 6 years later. But he was also semi-emergency and was like $14k.

Oh. So his channel isn't going well? The key is to act like a douchenozzle and scream loud while playing horror games. Is he already doing that? Should I like, favorite and subscribe to his channel for him? Will it feature you singing Carrie Underwood songs?

If he plays minecraft my 7 year old will watch it.

I'm confident enough with my way around the lady parts that I could probably due it.
