This week has been terrible on so many levels at work. I'm nearing the end of the "vacation exodus" in my offfice and I cannot wait. Covering for people is fine for a little while, but there's been a surplus of stupidity lately.

I've taken so much heat for other peoples' mistakes this summer. I have not thrown an employee or co-worker under the bus yet, but I'm about one good butt-chewing from hopping in the driver's seat and finishing the job myself.

When I was very little the first thing my Mom taught me about grocery shopping was "never go grocery shopping when you are hungry."
