all this talk of "bullying" has gone way too far. anytime someone disagrees with you it's "bullying". i'm sick of it.

Yeah, sometimes I fear that we're raising a generation of pants ****ers that will run to someone else to fix every problem they have. I totally agree that most of the time, violence isn't the answer, but there's also a few times that 'telling an adult' isn't going to be nearly as effective as popping someone in the mouth hard enough that they learn their lesson that way.

My dad used to work at vet med building cleaning up cages(poop scooping), and he was cleaning a bull cage when the bull decided it wanted out, and he wasn't going to try to stop it so for a while there was a bull running free through the halls.

Where were you raised, Rabbuk? Not snarky, genuinely curious. I've never lived anywhere where I couldn't see cows within an hour's drive.

"can" doesn't mean you do. Think of kids in downtown CR or Des Moines. They could almost certainly get to cows within 30-45 minutes, but that doesn't mean they have the opportunity or take advantage of it.

I have a second cousin that used to teach science at CR Prairie and she said many of her students had never seen corn and thought food came straight from the grocery store.

I've told my sons, "I don't want you fighting all the time, but if someone wont stop messing with you, then you have to stand up for yourself." Heck I encouraged my 5 year to get physical with his cousin who wouldn't stop biting and being a little jerk.

I realize that...but they never drove on vacation, or to visit grandma in another town, or drove here? I could understand if they were in the heart of NYC or Houston or LA or some other large, sprawling metropolis and never left the city, but it just surprises me. I didn't take Rabbuk to be an inner city kid from his posts on here.

Walk away if you can, don't hit first, stay on the defensive side (blocking blows, bearhugging tactics, etc)...if all of that fails, try to get one good swing in.

I didn't want my boys to be wimpy, but Lord help them if I ever heard they swung first...

I was 1 of 2 admins of this Chicago Cubs Fans facebook group that had over 30,000 people in it and people were constantly participating in it. And then new Facebook happened, and they deleted it because it had "Chicago Cubs" in it and it was copyrighted. It said if me or the other admin created another Cub account, we would be permabanned from facebook.

So this dude that posted a lot created a Cub fan group that had about 20 people in it. 19 of the people were cool. There was 1 dude who is over dramatic about everything, demands we get back to 30,000, but everyone else agreed to keep it at 20 buddies who are close and talk about Cubs and random crap. Just having fun like we do in this thread.

The man who created it left facebook, and no one really noticed, until the 1 ****** who demanded we get back to 30,000 realized the "Admin" position of the group was open. He took it, and then added just a **** ton of people, and they're all old, so thankful for being a part of the group and they're favorite Cub memories. And then a few of my buddies and I are cracking jokes at each other, and this ****** deletes our posts.

So now we're making fun of him until he bans us, because we're mature adults.

What else do Cubs fans have to do right now?

He said "close up"...I'm assuming he drove by them.

Why do I get Readers Digest every month? I never ordered it and have never been billed. It goes straight to the recycle bin.
