I haven't looked at or posted in this thread since my cyrocksmykhakipants on Friday night. I just read every single post since then. I can't even describe what I just read. From creepy little feet to vaginas to the Cubs sucking as usual to mods to Monday and everything in between. This thread delivers. I'm kinda sad I wasn't a part of it.

I love you all. Except CloneinWDSM. Go Chiefs tho.

I went to a Baptist funeral on Saturday. I always thought that Catholic priests had a monopoly on the long-winded sermon. I was....incorrect.

I spent the first half trying to keep my daughter from acting up. The next half, my wife had to keep me from acting up. The last half, I was trying to remember whose funeral I was there for.

And yes, there were three halves. It's not mathematically possible, but it was that long.

I'm starting to wonder if you were at the funeral my mom went to on Saturday, she said it was 2 hours and they had 7 people do eulogies.

I thought about reading every post since our internet went out (I have no idea if it's even fixed today yet) but then I decided not to.

I guess Mediacom doesn't fix things on Sundays.

That's really really long. Most of the funerals I've been to either Methodist or Baptist haven't gone over an hour.

I just ordered these sweet ISU-colored 574s:

I felt more energized this morning than I have in a while and I have no idea why.

I actually don't feel tired, which is nice. Just people emailing me problems to figure out and needing to explain things to people who will not understand. Imagine trying to teach your parents how to use formulas in Excel. And it takes 20 minutes to show them how to select cells alone.

aaaaaaaaaaaand it's pouring and I left my car windows cracked. We'll just consider it a rinse for the inside of my car.

That sounds terrible. A lot of my job this time of year is problem solving. I am not a fan of it at all.

I was well into my thirties before I realized the whole sexual/virgin connection between calling unpopped popcorn kernels "old maids" - and the "unpopped" lady parts of the human old maid.

In one sense I'm kind of amazed at the people who called them (unpopped kernels) that - that they would talk that way in front of innocent children.

On the other hand, now I kind of understand why sometimes they would kind of snicker when they'd say, "I call the unpopped ones Old Maids, ha ha."

I never knew this until I read your post, and I have 20 years on you!
