The nice thing about this site is they have everything from top end to more reasonable priced and more modest brands. I don't buy a whole bunch of high end stuff.* I used to just watch their sale items and find stuff that was pretty cheap but is a more of middle of the road product line. I am a little more careful about going bargain basement on the shorts, though. It is all about the chamois!

*I think the word I am struggling to to put my finger on when describing myself is "cheap".

Ah, dammit. The one name brand I do shop is Pearl Izumi for the padded shorts. Perfect for me so I go to order some today and find they stopped making their "3D" chamois and have something they call their 1:1 chamois that people seem to be hating. Trying to decide to try the new or shop for something different. Kinda of a Murphy's Law thing, if there is something you really really like they will stop making it.

As a freshman it was Yukon Jack from the bottle. I moved to mostly Jim Beam later and occasionally black jack.

I could handle nearly anything. Wild Irish Rose was a battle though.

I believe Velo's talking about the Iowa State Fair. Nothings free at the Minnesota State Fair unless you're a kid going through L'il Farm Hands. There you get a small box of cereal or can of vegetables.

To be fair one of the belt loops was ripped off a couple of weeks ago too so it's time was coming.

I have a key ring at work I hang from a belt loop so if one breaks it is always that one. I have at least one pair of dress pants and one pair of jeans at pretty much any time that have that one belt loop half ripped off the pants.
