Hola. I'm back and survived. It was a bit depressing flying into to MSP and seeing that it was snowing. The beaches where we were were the best I've ever seen. The food was great. The weather was perfect. My least favorite part of the trip was when the dude in the "I Love Beer" muscle shirt walked past me and said, "Dad, you're daughter is hot!" He's now my mortal enemy.

I was headed south on 35 for all of two or three miles today around 1:30p. Saw a car go past with their Iowa State plates and car flags attached to the back windows. I was EXTREMELY tempted to just continue on for about 10 seconds, but I didn't.
Really wish we could go down, but I have to play bells on Sunday, and driving home after the game makes for a very long day and a very short night.

half listening to Dateline and I thought I heard that a spouse could decline an autopsy of a spouse for "religious reasons" even if the death is suspicious (turns out the parents did......but still, it was an adult child and my point still applies)
I told Dh that I'd store that tidbit in my brain. Oh gee, DH found with a fishknife in his back? No autopsy! Religious reasons!

Proposal finished. I should learn how to not procrastinate. Maybe someday.
btw, musical chairs meeting ended up having gotten moved to a larger room so I didn't need to fight for a seat, thankfully. It was still supremely annoying in other ways though and I predict much venting on the topic between now and its end. Also some entertainment though. We shall see.
Baby news!
Someone learned to crawl this week! We are doomed. Three teeth now. Also, only 1 wakeup last night!!!!!!!! I've now jinxed it but how nice. Of course it was kinda ruined by me not getting to bed until almost 11, getting up at 5:30 to workout and being up with baby from about 2-3 so that's great lol. I should go to bed. The meetings this week were using a lot of my brain and I'm just kinda mentally wiped. I got home today and DH (who was home today) was just getting baby down for a nap..........at 5pm. We all took a family nap til 6:30. Which was great but then baby not down for the night til 8:20. How bad is it if baby kinda has a "flexible" bedtime.........I see these other parents with regular nap times and it's literally a surprise every day. Today he took an almost 2 hour nap at daycare!!! That hasn't happened in literal months. We'll see what the weekend holds.

What a game by the guys today, sure glad they got the W.
Still using the work truck to go between sites no bueno on my car going. A guy at work today slipped came went down banged his head and lost his vision for a bit then extreme head pain afterwards.Went to the hospital don't know how he turned out.
