They keep proposing the same for MPLS-Rochester. It's a ridiculously horrible idea in both cases. There's absolutely no chance the user fees can support such a thing. MPLS-Rochester would get WAY more traffic because of Mayo and it's still a horrendous idea. In Rochester's case they can't make it much faster than driving it if there are stops along the way to pick up Mayo employees and bring them to work vs the Mayo buses that currently do.
My neighbor currently works for 3M in MPLS and commutes daily but he'd have to Uber or taxi to work every day if he took a shuttle so there won't be a time savings.
