Not exactly sure.
Have said graduation of the oldest won't bother me, but leaving for college will. Will have a gap of the things we did together, my youngest who isn't as deep into football and other things will now catch my wrath and doubled up attention, only thing smoothing this over some is my son almost becoming a mini-me come college.

I have always stressed to do their own things and follow their own path as much as possible. Oldest is attending the same college as me, with the same major as me and has requested the same dorms to live in as me. Last night he was looking at classes and I was showing him the most efficient way of lining things up. Much easier now when you see how many seats are left in the class and everything, not the old pull out the catalog and dial up. Then get told your first two choices were full and you now have labs at 6-9 at night and a stinking history class at 5-6, so you eat supper by yourself and your weekends are always late starting.

"The pain I feel now is part of the happiness I felt before. That is the deal." Damn you, C.S. Lewis for hitting the nail on the head.

Mother-in-law is hospitalized and on a respirator. Not looking good.

Edit: She is gone.
So sorry. Been there, kind of.

I used to donate blood regularly. Been busy since they shifted the time they show up in town. Had a question for a good chunk of the time.

How long does my DNA stay in the other person? If it’s a couple weeks or a month, what if this person robbed a bank or kidnapped someone and was injured where they left blood there. Would my DNA show up in Des Moines since that is where this group shifts it’s stuff.
Asking for a friend, right?

Now very I'm concerned. Why do you need to get fingerprinted?

th

Ok. while looking this up, I typed in the words that are on this exactly and below is the gif right next to it. I truly don't understand how it correlates but had to post it. Also, borderline NSFW for some and probably no interest to the females to see. I am still puzzled how it correlates to I'd tell you but then Id have to kill you

Well I will let you google for yourself, It was an odd one.

I've been eligible since Thanksgiving to donate and haven't. Really need to as I had been doing it at regular intervals for the last few years

Randoms:

Wind is gusting to 29 mph and snow is back int he forecast for Saturday. **** you April.

One my third or fourth design iteration for the Rocky Shocker. Traditional ground designs are too close to house and the house's main ground. Double wire designs will short out in the rain. Although I like my "barber pole design" for dry weather, maybe just make sure it's unplugged based on forecast? Trying to conceptualize something in between. Maybe a ground pad at the base of the pole. Anyway, off to Menards for parts. Design/Built time!

Rocky Zapper project is delayed for a couple of days. Cannot find single wire underground insulated cable to power up the "barber pole". It's the city so not like they have this stuff at the big box stores. Internet order to the rescue.
