Just finished with our tax appt. I knew it was gonna be ugly since my wife had to sell her DST stock after they got bought out, but woof.

Can you Craigslist a kidney?

Finished mine at the same time. Was definitely displeased with the information I got about federal taxes. I mean, where does he expect me to find that extra 37 dollars to send in. :)

State wise, I may not sit for a couple days after mailing that check in.

High five of solidarity.

You............wut.

BTW, I made this response not even thinking about my avatar...if you believe that.

One year, I thought we might be getting a decent return from federal and state. Nope. Owed the feds $1.54 and the state $24.xx. Oh well.

I have no clue who your avatar is or from.

Now have an ad for a vasectomy. No needles and done in 10 minutes. Is that those big rubber bands that the sheep farmers use? I think I will pass on that.

Is it time for a Friday Confessions thread? I had a date last night, and now I have a good one. Let's just say I was optimistic enough I decided to do a little clean up down there, but not optimistic enough to clean up the results of the clean up.

Spent the whole day at the Harley dealership promoting our charity run. This dealership also sponsors the Omaha Beef football team so guess who got roped into riding the cheerleaders onto the field tonight? It's tough work.

Need help riding those cheerleaders?? I’m not an exhibitionist, but to help out I could probably get by this one time.

Long enough day at work, but hopefully tomorrow will be better.

The REC employees are going to be cashing in some good paychecks at the end of this month.

The American Legion had a steak fry tonite in one of the small towns I work by got there about 7ish was #185 last steak served was 192. Added bonus they were closing out the Sam Adams Winter Lager for $2/bottle. The meal was pretty darn good for $13 10oz ribeye, baked potato, cole slaw and garlic bread.

Been without power since 2pm. I just so happen to be in a small cluster of homes that haven’t gotten power restored yet. Street lights are on, houses across street have lights on. Can’t really sleep as there are diesel trucks running outside the window. Was hoping to binge some Game of Thrones to be prepped for tomorrow. Le sigh...

I started to watch season 1 and it's been so long it was practically like watching a new show. I think I'll just wait until after this season is over and watch it all again from the beginning.

I saw this randomly on the web about "people suck" stories and thought it was worth sharing. No idea if it's true, but so what. I'd love to have the nerve to do this someday if in a similar situation.

A guy was in line at Burger King. Behind him in the line was this woman and her kid. The kid kept screaming and yelling that he wanted an apple pie. The mom looked like she was so beat down that she was hardly fighting back. The kid is screaming loud enough at this point for the whole restaurant to hear and begins kicking his mom. She eventually caves and says he can have one. When the redditor got to the front of the line he asks the person at the register how many apple pies they have left. They tell him and he buys all of them. He ate one and made sure the kid saw him throw the rest in the trash.

If I would have been there, and not been my kid, I would have taken an apple pie out of the garbage followed the dude out of the store and he would know what its like to have an apple pie as a suppository.
