I'm about to go golfing for the first time. Any advice? I've already taught myself how to get a good running start at the ball before I swing and I know that if I miss I need to toss my clubs into some water.

Be prepared for a fun but frustrating day

Hit the ball then the ground.

Sorry, gonna get deep here for a second.

I grew up catholic and walked away from it in college partly from the child sex abuse scandals. Came back a little over a year ago, and I'm volunteering at Vacation Bible School this summer, so I have to go thru this online child abuse training thing where they ask a question then show a video about that subject, then go back to the question to see if you want to change your answer. Honestly, it's just re-igniting my rage over that ****....it just pizzes me off that this is necessary...I understand that it is, but part of me is like "Hey, you know why we shouldn't have to have this training? Because I know the correct answer before you show the video, and I know it after, it's common sense. Just have the ****ing quiz and disqualify the morons that don't already know how to not let perverts abuse our kids."

*Sorry, hadda get that out....

Quick back to spousal music ability: Husband's claim to fame was first chair All-State in Nebraska his senior year on trombone. He played all 4 years of marching band at Iowa State. He's also a tenor...we kid we have the same vocal range.

Okay! Back to golfing and Happy Gilmore and double entendres.

Toss the clubs in the water first and you'll save yourself a LOT of aggravation. :)
