I've only heard her classical stuff, so she'd have to send me a larger sample of her style, but I could see her killing Time After Time.
You can add age to that equation. A 120lb 20 year old and a 120lb 60 year old (post-menopausal) will fight over thermostats as well...
Uhh. you don't even need the 20 year old...a 120# 60 YO will fight herself for the thermostat.
A good friend of mine sets up the media uplinks for sporting/news events and drives one of the big white satellite trucks. The night before he left for Ferguson, me and a group of friends met him outside of an IHOP so he could show us the inner workings.
Every face inside that IHOP was glued to the window. I was the lone white guy in the group and I'm pretty sure about 80% of them were ready to record my beat down to post on Youtube.
What if you actually knew Heart? They went to different high schools in my city, but Nancy & I had mutual friends, so I met her a few times.
Then you just raised a couple of notches in my book, because Heart kicks ***.
Not besties or anything like that...
But I remember Nancy as laid back & very funny.
Of course, the one major airline I'm booking my flight on is the one I don't already have a membership and miles accrued with.
Nah, Delta. And apparently I do have an account, it's just so old I didn't realize I do. All of my other ones are under my work email and this one is under my personal one, so lord knows how long I've had the thing.
Last time Mrs. Velo and I went to Hawaii we got bumped up to first class on our Delta flight out. It is amazing how much better the flight is with leg room and a few drinks.
