Every time I've been bumped to first class I get stuck in the row in front of the bathroom where you can't recline. That's always fun on a 7 hour overnight flight to Phoenix.
Ours was 9 hours from CVG (long story). It would have been much worse in coach despite the plane only being about 3/4 full. We were lucky enough to have seats together in FC away from any bulkheads. I know they say to not drink on a plane because it worsens the dehydration that you get from breathing the recirculated air, but a few drinks sure takes the edge off and I make sure that alcoholic drinks aren't the only thing I am drinking.
I can't imagine some of these flights to Asia or the Middle East at around 20 hours. I'm pretty sure I would be chewing through my wrists.
I didn't realize that it left it there, I kept wondering why people were liking my comment when it no longer made sense.

I can immediately fall asleep on any flight and sleep the whole thing. 30 minute flight to Maui or 8 hour flight to Vegas, doesn't matter, I can sleep it out.
we got bumped to "business" class last fall on the way to Jamaica when I thought we were about to get bumped from the flight. Yeah, those seats are pretty decent.
I am one of those people that gets uncomfortable and starts sweating if it is above 85 or if it is just warm (80+) with no air movement. Growing up my parents would only really turn the A/C on if it got above 85-88 in the house. So all of those summer days where it isn't hot there just isn't any wind were brutal. Not to mention being outside playing and having no relief.

When I was learning to fly a couple of years ago my instructor and I were doing touch-n-go's at my home airport. On one go (takeoff portion) we noticed a turtle on one side of the runway. We decided that would not be good for anyone to hit on the runway so we landed, I taxied around him and my instructor got out and moved him off the runway.
There was another time I nearly nailed while driving around a corner at the same airport.
