Dropoffs for first day of school are complete, Mrs00 didn't cry, though I suspect she did in the van on the way to work. Littlest00 was also switching rooms at daycare to the 3 YO room, so change there too. Dropped him off first, then went to school. Took little00 to his meeting area, and hung out with him until they were ready to go into class. Got to admit, now that we've lived here 3 years, it felt good to know a lot of people we saw. little00's friends from daycare's parents, people from church, etc.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure that there was a woman who walked by me who commented to the woman with her "there's a lot of hot men here" (and we were in the elementary school, so she had to have been talking about all the dads there for the first day of school). The fact that she said it as she was walking by me was a little flattering, but the fact that she was rolling probably 3 bills in cutoff jorts that looked like they were ready to give out kinda took away from it.

I just had to take an ***-chewing by a customer for some dumb move by one of my co-workers this weekend.

That was fun. Time to pay it forward.

I just did that this morning. One person has been gone for 2.5 weeks. The other left last Wednesday and will be back next Monday. I had a whole list of stuff ready for the one who came back today...and pretty much hit him with all of the pending stuff right off the bat. As his eyes started to glaze over, I commented that yeah, it was a lot of stuff to hit him with, and I know how much I hate to be hit with 40 gazillion things first day back from vacation...

...so consider this PAYBACK!!!

*evil grin*

Smart kids don't schedule Monday 8 AM classes.
Wisconsin gives us our schedules first semester, so I'll be "enjoying" contracts class at 8:15 every morning

On the other hand, I've met some of the people who'll be in my class and they all seem really nice...and a lot of the girls are really cute too.

I am doing a flag football league through work. My wife said to make sure I keep my insurance card handy. She knows me well.

On a group call with my team and manager. One of the other new hires called me out for working from home the past couple of days (right after the manager said us new hires need to be in the office everyday for a while). Thanks man.

I was gonna bake him cookies too since it was his birthday today. I think he just noped himself out of that one.
