Random Thoughts IV

I've got 4 pillows on my bed. Two for each side, so I only use two usually. One to cuddle the **** out of and the other for my head.
 
Damn you Esquire Channel. 5th Element is on and must watch at least some of it.

Ya know, CG might have scored some of those canvas print thingies as house warming presents but there was no RT house warming party.
 
Woo when you heard the other bagpiper the other night you should have got your pipes out and played back a few notes to them. It would have been like Scottish Marco Polo.

I should have, but they only played for about a minute more after I figured out someone was playing outside.

and pants: maybe, but it wouldn't have been nearly as effective since I wouldn't have been able to do the dance component.

Between work (insane), taking care of a newborn and a 7-year old (insane), getting my son ready for start of school tomorrow (insane), and driving my father-in-law around town (and out of town) to visit everyone he knows (insane); it's been a rough month.

The cherry on top was that while my Sr. manager was out, our director dropped off a project with me to launch a new client in 2 and a half weeks (a process that usually takes 60-90 days). I've been working non-stop at work and most nights until 2 or 3 am. Almost wrapped up with that project, so that's nice.

After reading this, I'm fairly certain this isn't Baby GTO posting after Highlandering his dad and is, in fact, GTO.
 
Marinating some Caribbean jerk chicken for tomorrow. I hate making that recipe because I have to constantly hear my wife's terrible jokes for a few days afterwards.

Once you lured her in with the alluring tones of the pipes, you could have won her heart with the dance.
