Wxman would be pumped if he were here. Was mowing the lawn and heard big rotary airplane engines. Looked up and saw four old WWII vintage B-25's flying over. Shut off the mower so I could enjoy the sound. Big airshow at Flying Cloud Airport that I wish I had remembered to attend.
Heck, I would have been pumped to see that.
Oh good, college food services. Definitely didn't eat where you shat, then.
I never actually lived in dorms at ISU. Lived on the west side of town my entire time.
Hey 2015, saw this in the comics section today and figured this is how it all started years ago for your wet hair girl!
PS: I think Family Circus totally blows as a comic, just thought this topical.

Not an infrequent sight around here. There are three airworthy B-25's in Minnesota.
The one at Blaine flew right over us (low) as we golfed in the ISU outing last year at the Victory Links Course in Blaine.
I don't hate Family Circus. I just feel it fails miserably at it's job as a comic.
Hottest room in our house too and I don't have to be in there that long. Keep hydrated.
It sometimes makes me smile. I like that it isn't mean spirited like many others.

Using the oven makes my kitchen hot. Decided I would make potato salad yesterday morning so less cooking in evening. Boiling eggs and potatoes also makes the kitchen hot, even in the morning. Those ovens where Rulzz works have to be brutal.
Wouldn't be difficult. But this old lady isn't heating much up unless I start getting hot flashes.
I've always seen family circus' role as making you smile and think "kids say the darnedest things" and I think does a pretty good job at that. That's why I've always thought Garfield was a much worse comic strip. It's trying to be funny but isn't IMO
I still can't figure out why that's such a common response so often in these circumstances.
