If I want passion, I'm going with Stevie Ray Vaughn over Hendrix. Don't get me wrong, Hendrix is a top 3 mainstream guitar player, but if I'm debating which top 2 is number one, Hendrix isn't in the conversation.

Love Stevie. Hendrix is just different. Probably because he was gone too soon. What we have from Jimi just resonates differently.

While Clapton is technically fantastic he just lacks something for me.

I already aced that quiz before. After watching Waynes World I realized my brother had a bunch of Queen CDs. I borrowed the crap out of those right away.

I remember the 60s. I just don't remember what I had for lunch yesterday.

BTW - I was 14 when Woodstock happened. I wasn't there; I just remember it from the news, and the radio. I do remember specific events from the 60s:
The bad stuff: JFK, MLK & RFK assassinations, Kent State, a war correspondent in Viet Nam getting shot in the leg on camera...
And the good stuff: the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, Neil Armstrong stepping out onto the moon, the Smothers Brothers Comedy hour & Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. If you ever want to see how Goldie Hawn got her big break in showbiz, watch Laugh-In.

Very interesting....

but stupid.

I watched Nick at Night all the time as a kid. I loved all those old shows.
 
Grilled cheese is incomplete without tomato soup. I will eat it without but the whole time I will be wondering what I am going to dip it in without my delicious cheap *** Campbell's tomato.
