Get home tonight after doing a little booze and chocolate shopping and went to check my mail. On the front steps, in the rain, is what looks like some cardboard trash. On closer inspection it is a rain disintegrated mailing box that is partly chewed up, apparently by the marauding herd of tree rat squirrels that frequent my yard. Package was a box of cookies from my niece. ****in’ squirrels. Little bastards must have dragged the box off the porch and out into the rain. Really hate them. Hate them like I hate rabbits.
