Drink a lot of scotch first.

Whiskey will have to do.

We bought ours at babies r us and used it for both our girls. Not expensive, well made, and quickly sold at a garage sale when they outgrew the crib. We still use the dresser.

We have on my found one that we like that is "cheap" ($199). We are wanting one of the converter types.

Ok, just my 2c here...you don't think about it onna first one, but we got one of the 'converter' ones (converts to a kids bed, right?)...but 4 years later haven't used it as a kid's bed because the youngest came along just when the oldest was ready for a real bed. We *might* use it converted for the youngest here, but might not. So, if you're paying more for a convertible one, that's a long investment payoff period.

Hmmm good point.

We ended up ordering from babies r us. we were looking at delivery fees/taxes and found out the crib was on sale. I found that they have some of the best reviews, but sometimes Amazon is a bit cheaper. b.b. Baby seemed the most expensive. We are currently using a hand-me-down dresser and a changing foam on top of it which works well for us.Also, hand me downs are usually in pretty good condition so don't be afraid to garage sale or accept them.*sorry if my sentences are badly structured. trying to get Z back to sleep.

Thinking of trying that for my squirrel rage. 10:29, still hatin' on the rodents.

I did salvage some of the treats since they were in a ziplock bag (smart niece) and water did not quite soak all of the contents.

I'ma be in Wisconsin after Christmas...wanna borrow my Foxhound for a few weeks? He'd have a BALL! We could meet in Eau Claire or something.

Sign up for babies r us emails to. they are constantly running sales Add very thing to your baby registry and after he shower date those items get a %off

And Target diapers, man. Alla other discounts and Amazon shipping deals, and all that noise...you can almost always still get 'em cheaper at Target. Plus, they're good. 4 straight years of Target diapers, man, use 'em.

Forgot about that part! She is going to check to see what she put down for that since we aren't really having a shower.

Yeah it is crazy how expensive this stuff is. We don't want a Cadillac just good sturdy furniture.

A friend's wife mentioned how much they spent on baby furniture in an in passing, non-nonchalant, assuming we paid similar fashion, and I dang near did an honest-to-god spit-take. Seriously, I think it was a few grand.

I am trying to steer her that way. Sadly she is all excited about the reusable stuff. I am right there with CW. No dirty diapers should ever share a cleaning space with my clothes and towels.
