I took the 4.5 year plan, but mostly because journalism is dumb and has dumb rules. Though it seems I'm not the only one, as I think half of the regulars here are December grads.
By the way, guys. My 10 year is this year. I just had my high school 10 year it feels like! I should not be having my college 10 year already.
KC or Boxster, are the years supposed to moving this fast as I age?!
Had my 40th two years ago, was bored off my butt. Expensive venue ("discounted rooms" were over $300 a night), beverages were expensive ($10 for a half glass of house White Zin), food was free but very frou-frou, and tiny amounts on the buffet...which was virtually empty within the first half hour and never restocked. Told PapaLew never again!
Except now, a couple of the smarter ones in my class are suggesting a cruise for the 50th, or having it in Hawaii (most of the attendees are still in the PNW), so I may change my mind. If I can relax on a vacation, maybe bump into a few of the less annoying classmates, I'm okay with that. There is nothing more annoying than being cooped up with a bunch of slobbery drunk 58-year-olds, with the music cranked so loud conversation is impossible. It's embarrassing.
