Thankfully, for his sake, BDK will get himself permabanned well before he can mature enough to feel horribly embarrassed at the stupid **** he used to post.

I think the issue is BDK is old enough to sit through the service whereas I have seen many 5 and unders playing with electronics. It does seem more disrespectful to listen to music than say read a book (even elsewhere in the Bible).

I also think that it would be more sensitive to people during a holiday. More people go to a service for Christmas or Easter. For whatever reason (don't want to cave this) they feel it is extremely important to go then vs any other time. Besides, just plain rude.

Listening to music, because you are actively saying you don't give a **** about what goes on in Church. Sleeping could be incidental.

yeah. Why go then? It's one thing to take little coloring books/reading books for small children, but if you're a damn teenager, sitting through Christmas church won't kill you. That's like the best one because they do good songs.

I honestly don't give a crap about chruch. I only go once a year, on Christmas Eve.

I'm not Catholic. But on holidays (like tonight) or when visiting DH's parents, I go. I go because it's important to them and it won't kill me to sit through an hour of church a few times a year. Though 8am church can't be holy. Like Rabbuk said, part of being an adult and showing maturity is doing things you don't always want to do.

in the effort to not turn this into a BDK bashfest since it's Christmas and we were all teenagers at one point........let's talk about how we looked at cabinets today, haha.
