Dude. I'm looking forward to the beef tenderloin (hope it's that) that my husband's stepdad will be grilling tomorrow for lunch.

Lying in bed in my Christmas pj's, catching up on stuff I've missed all day.

The funny thing is that I got a nice northface sweatshirt and they got this weird shirt that they won't ever wear.
My other grandma is good at giving gifts.

buying for teen/college-aged girls is difficult (assuming ages here). Go with gift cards. Now they can go shopping and pick out something they like. Double score.

so DH and I are terrible at making friends, but I felt like we were making progress with the whole kickball/dodgeball thing. We got invited to a Christmas party, and now we got invited to a NYE party I know, lamesauce, but it's like, hey cool, we are getting invited to adult party things by other adults We'll have to host something next year if people want to come to the other side of town.

Totes a pity invite.
