Crazy windy again today with frequents gusts to 35 mph. Boo that. Sort fo kills the biking or birdabouting. Maybe some yardwork is in order.
Got an estimate to extend a cedar fence the same company had built five years or so ago. Just add a five foot panel to cover where the damn deer ate up three arborvitae. $1300. Yikes. Exploring other options. Maybe build a freestanding decorative panel myself using one of these 3x6 panels.

Anyone I know who's had kids the last several years has said it's terribly expensive.

Almost 30 years ago, the largest part of a second parent working paid for childcare. It's been a terrible expense for a long time.
Reranking sausage egg cheese croissants 1. Kum & Go like the egg part fold them like a omelet. 2. Kwik Star used to be 1 but K&Gs's is the superior product. 3. Casey's a strong contender for 2nd but the croissant is a little too big too high of bread to ingredient ratio IMO.
Kwikstar would win the environmental award, just wrapped in paper way less packaging than the other 2.

Yeah but right now their gas has been the cheapest in C.L. for 2 weeks straight now. The 89cent medium fountain at Casey's is a good deal though.

You saying the Krause family that has their name all over stuff at Iowa is a different Krause family that owns convenience stores? Popular convenience store last name I guess.
Toasted marshmallows are better than burnt marshmallows in my opinion.

anyone every do allergy shots before?
ive struggled with season allergies my whole life and now living on a farm it's even worse.
got a test back in 2016 and was allergic to everything under the sun pollen wise.
just did another test recently and i think im going to go the shot route as i have no other options at this point

I did them. I was allergic to everything too. Serum was split up between 3 different shots each round. Would knock me on my *** the rest of the day after the shot but it was worth it. Now I take an occasional Zyrtec when pollen count is really high but other than that, I haven't had much of an issue.
My son tried that route when he was in his mid 20s. He ended up having a severe reaction to the second or third shot that put him in the emergency room, and decided it wasn't for him. He lives on Clariton in the spring.
I got shots from when I was 6 or 7 until my mid 20s. Never had any problems with them and they did help.
