ahhh, that makes sense. I only knew about it from like the deep recesses of an accounting class.
Sure can, just a matter if they check or not. I have heard of people making up dependents or marking down nephews or nieces. Had a coworker one time ask me how much I thought they could claim in donations whiteout causing a red flag.
My folks used a tax attorney for a few years. When my sister went to UNI for accounting she wanted to look at my folks taxes to check what she knew. First thing she found was the guy had her social security number as our home phone number. Then found out he was off the rails on a few things so we stopped using him.

Managers at morning job are already worried that we're overstaffed for tomorrow.
I'll be wondering now if it's 8:30 or 10 AM that they send me home.
Otherwise, in my piling on of PT work, I think there's an offer waiting on my phone, but I just interviewed with the one I really want, but won't hear for a few days. Too bad this doesn't happen for FT remote options (unless the really nice one comes through, but they've shot me down for a couple things already).
