Update fluid around the heart, unluckily stuck in er limbo. Traumas keep coming in and a treatment plan keeps being delayed. Just admit him and started on a program.
Yeah...that's tough, when you know that a loved one needs to get admitted, but nothing happens quickly. Positive vibes and a prayer for your Dad, Ndubs!!
Been checking back here for an update. Glad to read one even though it’s not what you want right now. Peace and healing to you all.
Thanks to all. Got him started on something lasix(?) To help him pee. If he goes enough the plan is to let him go home and do follow up visits with his regular doc.

Beach Boys were mostly before my time, although I am enjoying “A Grammy Salute to The Beach Boys” on CBS. Will make you feel older. Or younger.
Got my first camping trip in over the weekend. Just a one nighter.
Fished all afternoon and had a great time...used to enjoy a few beers at camp to celebrate a good day like that but since I hardly drink, the hangover and bad sleep after like 4 beers isn't worth it.
Gonna try tea next time.

Sounds great but if you admit to your neighbors what you admitted to at the end of your second paragraph you'll probably get kicked out of Wisconsin.
Glad to hear he's on the road to recovery. If he's at the FD hospital, I know the lack of on-site doctors can be pretty frustrating. From visiting my mom a couple of times while she's been admitted, I know that hospital is pretty nice and the staff is great but the lack of doctors is a bit odd.
Yeah it's a good thing I generally camp solo.
The folks at campgrounds give a weird look if any site's not littered with beer cans and basically an entire kitchen's worth of food/eating materials.
Hopefully, with the warmer weather, the grass seed I threw down last fall will finally start to germinate
