My second year of college I moved into a triple on Dana with another friend who lived there. We hoped we would not get assigned anyone. ISU in their infinite wisdom, assigned us someone with the same first and last name as friend who lived there. I wondered if it was some joke. Fortunately that assigned person rushed a frat so I didn’t have two roomies with the same name.
Yeah I had a great great uncle named John Smith too. ;)

People sometimes would get upset with him because they thought he just wouldn't tell them his real name.

Just read an article about Clint Eastwood not appearing in public for over 400 days and speculation about his health. They quoted some doctor who has never treated him speculating about osteoporosis. What kind of quack do you have to be to go on the record speculating about someones health when you only can reference pictures and video of the person? Lame.

EDIT: and year old pictures and video to boot.

Be nice. I don't question how you get paid.

Buddy of mine in college had that name. It wasn't always believed but that's what it was.

Sophomore and junior year my roommate was Sarah. And our last names started with the same letter. A couple of times when our dorm room phone rang, Sarah would answer with "Hello, is Sara(h) there?"

Not exactly sure.
The three of us who were legal age each picked up a bottle from Ole Smokey distillery while in Nashville. My wife likes banana pudding so she got banana pudding moonshine. I got a bottle of banana whiskey. Tried the whiskey at the hotel later and a little apple juice with it was quite nice. Wife drank some of the sons stuff but no one had tried the wife’s.

So tonight I decide to pour a little and add a little chocolate syrup. The initial taste was more moonshine but with a solid banana aftertaste. The aftertaste keeps getting stronger. Now an hour later and it’s getting even stronger after a bourbon/Fresca. I can’t shed it. I should have kept the whiskey but let the son keep the last half of the bottle when we dropped him off at his place.

someone convince me to wait on buying a new ride - i think prices are going to go down but the family needs a new vehicle and im afraid interest rates will just continue to rise.

What time frame are you looking at? How bad is the vehicle you have now? I can drive some really sketchy vehicles so I always say you can wait.

Besides, CF rules are you pay cash.

EDIT: Also remembered that ST. Paddys is done so it's easter avatar time.

We've been looking casually since beginning of Feb. Wife will primarily drive it- the vehicle she has now is fine. It's just 11 years old - but only has 106K on it. Runs great.

Just need more space so we can lay the seats down and 'wrestle'

Shoot, that has plenty of life left in it. We used to have fairly new vehicles, but now we have 3-2011's, 1-2015/2016, 1-2010, 1-2008, and 1-1997. Mileage is mostly all in that 90,000-125,000. Except what I drive and what my daughter drives (which had the engine overhauled about 40,000 miles ago). So you still are fine.

The biggest issue you could have is inflation more than interest rates. New vehicles seem to take inflation hard.

Yeah-

My biggest issue with her car (Nissan Rogue) is the space- I feel like I'm in a clown car when we're all in it. I'm just used to the space my F150 so when we go somewhere as a family we tend to drive the truck. Our kid is only 1 so it's not like we need all the space right now, anyway.

Do you plan to have anymore kids? If so, I would wait a bit until then. Then I would recommend what 99% of men don't want to hear, a minivan. They have space and are fairly cheap compared to other vehicles. We had one and only got rid of it because it became unreliable with stupid little stuff. You have time wait.

I can tell you a minivan will never happen b/c my wife hates them.

It'll be a 3rd row SUV of some sort. But not sure on another kid front. If I gave you an answer today I'd say hell no because the 1 year old is enough right now. Haha

My wife won't consider a minivan either. There is not even an argument it's just a hard no

The really big third row SUVs - like Expedition sized - should have a fifth door for easier access to the third row. It would look ridiculous, but if you are driving that tank you can just run anyone who laughs at you off the road.
