My husband better be grateful we live in a decent neighborhood/apartment complex. Second time in a week he's left the garage door open, where we have our tailgating grill and tent.

No, I'm NOT telling you specifically where I live.

I'm back guys, but it will be a couple of days yet before I get chatty again. Something on Galapagos triggered a major asthma flare. I think it was the detergent they used on our clothes at the laundry; Lew thinks it was the smell of sea lion dung and/or urine that permeated the air. :(
By the time we got back to Guayaquil I was in full flare-up. We found a local pharmacy that carried Ventolin rescue inhalers, but at that point I was deep enough in that there was only minimal relief. Lew saw most of Guayaquil while I tried to rest and keep breathing.
When we got home, the first thing I did was use my nebulizer. The second thing I did was call my doc for steroids. Started them today. By tomorrow night I should be feeling at least 80% better, if my usual pattern goes. Anyone who has had asthma knows its a vicious cycle, and it's easier to stop early on than it is to fight it back once the spiral has started. This probably gives you guys a pretty good idea of why I was so cautious about contracting covid.

Well even though it was extremely breezy, I channeled my inner BoxsterCy and got a good hour bike ride in this afternoon. Pretty mundane ride except for the big doe deer that I spooked from along side the trail. A fair number of people out camping at the state park.

Little breezy up north also. Went out thinking 20 something but did 37 miles, could have had 40 but was starting to get dark. Note to self, put little red flashing don't kill me light on the bike.

I spy with my biker eye (1) one corgi dog (2) weird dude running on asphalt path in bare feet (3) one albino squirrel.

Oh, and some fall color. Smelled like fall to.

Random observation: A lot of my friends carry the buzz kill gene. Got me thinking what percentage of the general population carries this gene.

Get yourself healthy quickly.

Got called from work over an issue that isn't my specialty. Naturally we have to call the guy that knows it who is always a **** about it when called and as usual was the same.

Dude, I'm sorry you got called about your specialty because I wasn't able to fix it when it isn't even my problem and I don't have all the info.

What's worse is he gets on calls and is intentionally a **** yet apparently never gets called on it yet I can sit on a call for 18 hours straight and get in trouble for muttering something under my breath (that I usually don't even know what it was) because I forgot to mute myself.

Well back home after extended work stay. Need to touch bases to figure out which job to prioritize next. Work was longer than expected today but still not terrible.

Where does southern MN start? Saw a commercial that had Rochester in it and I think of that to the twin cities as central and everything above as North.
