So probably not Wooster or Wisconsin then.

but kilts are definitely amazing, I highly recommend them
I'd think that Wisconsin would be a possibility. She's creative and bright. I can see that being encouraged there. However, it's really difficult to get into Wisconsin as a Twin Cities suburban kid and it's also a bit of a cliche for a Twin Cities suburban kid to want to go to Wisconsin. I can see her wanting to choose a more original path.

That's when it changed for us. It was like she flipped a switch.

Damn, dude, electro shock?

My child peed on another child at daycare today. On purpose. Then purposely peed on the bathroom floor tonight while DH turned his back. Tell me it gets better and my toddler won't end up on a list.
I mean, I went to daycare/preschool with a girl who was a biter and we're now engaged so....sure?

Ok, we aren't engaged, and I haven't seen her since we were little, but I'm fairly confident she's a productive member of society.

But anyway, it's DH's fault and I've moved from rum to tequila on Thursdays.
So what are your thoughts on frozen margaritas?

I loved Wisconsin and will always talk it up, it's an incredible school. I will also talk up Wooster/liberal arts schools though. Wooster has a senior capstone which all students do and it's an incredible experience. It also is a more original path. And obviously: kilts

The pipes, laddee - ye fergot the pipes!

Looking through a chat session I had going on during that incident it seems some people just got tired of dealing with it and just walked away from it.
Not sure how anyone can do that and keep a job.

I remember the project we had in the UK 4 years ago one guy just cracked from the stress (which was a lot) and disappeared for a few days. I found him wasted in a pub.

Radar says 4 inches of rain in last 24 hours at home and the new electric line trenchers show up now. Been nice and dry for the months since the problem but you choose now to show up and totally mud in a new electric line for us. Guess that means no power today. Not a convenient day for that.

Holy Shiite, there is another wave of rain headed my way in an hour or so. Per my data, in one day I may get 50% of the total rain I have received since April 1st.

We had had about 3" all year until a couple weeks ago when we got 3" in a day. We have had around 6" in August now.

@cowgirl836....thank you for all that. I had forgotten that LilMiss pooped in the front yard. Hell just yesterday LilWx got home from school, left his bike in front of the door and ran around to the side of the house to pee because it was an emergency....

In three year old pre school he had to pee at recess and did the little boy pants pulled all the way down on a tree. I think I had shown him that trick recently and we have been fighting him to go inside when he needs to go ever since.

I haven't ventured out in the light rain we are getting right now but for the first time I can remember (seriously) this year I can see the water level in the rain gauge above the deck railing so probably has to be multiple inches since I reported less than half yesterday morning.

Power just went out as I'm typing this so I probably won't be able to send this until electrons start flowing again.

Been nice knowing you all...

Update: Power was out from 0730 to 0830. I went back to bed and actually fell back to sleep! Took a walk; 71 degrees, not bad. 91% humidity...well...
