It seemed like everytime the camera zoomed in on Freeman he looked winded, almost like he has asthma.?
They’re just soft. It’s clear our strength and conditioning program has us in “game shape” earlier than other teams.

It obviously helps that we’re a legitimate 9-10 deep and Iowa is obviously not. Our depth and versatility has been discussed here a lot (as it should) but could very well be be the reason this ends up being our best team ever. Maybe not the best stars (Tinsley + Fizer will probably wear that crown for awhile) and Fred’s late teams/Steves early teams obviously had the most NBA talent. But we’re as good for 40 minutes regardless of substitutions as we’ve ever been and can match any number of match-ups the other team wants to play with.

Was apparent in the Iowa game and was very apparent in Maui watching in person. That Auburn game was as intense of a basketball game as I’ve seen. Both mentally and physically. We got stronger as the game went on against Dayton <24 hours later and then same with Colorado <16 hours after that.

Iowa game was similar in that they faded down the stretch and we were getting stronger.

You are misinterpreting what I'm saying. It is not slanted against us. I know it is highly viewed and watched. I could care less to ever listen to hassle. I do not find him funny or informative as it relates to Iowa State.

Please continue to make up stuff that I have not said.
He provides very little meaningful commentary on Iowa State, it's mostly stupid sh*t like the uniforms and fan attendance and whether the field is too slippery.

They went almost a whole year talking about placenta. You should know at this point what you are getting yourself into when you listen to 2 Guys.

I can’t believe people don’t realize this is all scripted.

You think Hassel just chose to show up late to the show without telling CW ahead of time? They 100% had a production meeting and scripted all that out, including the trolling he did at the start.

It’s pretty easy to tell. It gets some people every single time. IE is like every other media company, get as many clicks as possible.

Agreed that it’s obviously scripted and that Hassel has intentionally been trolling our fan base. I just wish Williams would return the favor.

Full game's up on Thomas Ornesse's YT channel.

I'm OK with missing it live but on the other hand it was really clear that Iowa was selling out for the win and maybe catching it live would be less painful to watch vs. checking the box score.

They were even pressuring the arc a bit on D and that's just not Franny ball from what I've ever seen.

We did what championship level teams do. When we were down double digits in the first half, it felt like it should have been more. We just kept doing our thing and making iowa work.

The point that sticks out in my head was lipsey hitting the three when the crowd was probably it's loudest for Iowa. They were up 4 and it brought it to one. When he made that, I felt we were winning. That shot is what championship level teams do. We are one of them.

I knew we were winning when I saw Freeman at the line trying to catch his breath. Banked in a FT and the next time he missed both. I knew it was over then.

Pretty silly that Iowa fans think he should have made those when Iowa, a 66% FT team was 11/11 when he stepped to the line tied at 74 74

That's interesting. As an Iowa State fan, if you were offered a 25-6 record right now, would you take it? Not sure I would.

I probably wouldn't on first look. But, if you could guarantee that we'd be 100% healthy going into the postseason at 25-6, I'd probably sign up for that.

I recorded it through the YTTV library and was able to fast forward through commercials. May watch it again to see how many threes Sanford clanked in the second half.
Pa Sandfort was 2-7 from three in 2nd half

Notice that Dix, Thelwell both played 20:00 in 2nd half. Pa Sandfort did all but 0:13. Dembele went 3-3 with 4 rebounds in 9:56 of 1st half, so only played 4:22 in 2nd half . . . .??

Team Rankings has the same projection. At Houston is the only game we are dogs, but

Haslametrics only has a couple of games within 2 possessions. @KU, @Tech, @AZ but us winning them all. I don't know if I would go that far. We might slip up a couple of times (but it sure would be cool not to).
