On a positive note I'm betting we sell more season tickets to desperate Nebraska fans than we did Hawk fans. Any team within 150 miles that can sell 80,000 tickets to a spring game (some for $95) will surely have a few that will spring for season tickets here to see the Huskers.

The policy last year was genius in that it forced ISU fans to buy season tickets and not just the EIU game. My guess is there may have been 10-20 hawk fans that did the same. Nebraska fans are far more fanatical.

When did Jamie start pushing fans to pony up and buy season tickets, and start pushing for the record to be broken? By your logic we should get rid of the inflatable tunnel, the guy on the field who yells at the fans before every game, the floating ISU, and "Sweet Caroline".

Floating ISU was around long before Jamie. I'll leave it up to the band to tear you a new one on that point

I have argued against Jeff Johnson being on the field pretty much since the first day. The tunnel looked cool - until we tried to run out of it, knocked over reporters and about took out 1/3 of the band.

You won't find many supporters of "Sweet Caroline" on this board either...

I'm all for Jamie trying to get people excited, my point is you're making a huge deal out of something that in the scheme of things isn't a big deal.

Yes things are quiet from the Athletic office and thats probally not generating the exciment it has in the past, but niether would a graphic on a webpage that shows we're sliding backwards, if that is the case.


Either way the point remains, you've got a stick up your *** about an image on a webpage that isn't up, and was only ever up once

We fully plan to start showing the ticket thermometer again once we get through renewals. Last year we started showing it in late February because the deadline was in February.
